Set For College is committed to reaching underserved families in our area by partnering with non-profit groups, including schools and religious organizations, to offer college planning services and workshops. Set For College has lent its support to several local organizations, including The Compelling Why, the Collin County Boys and Girls Club and the Collin County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta.

Meet Our Expert
Gillian Stubblefield, M.A.
College Admissions Strategist
Gillian has a passion for helping students navigate the college admissions process and establishing academic goals that are challenging but achievable.
Gillian is a graduate of George Mason University, Webster University and UCLA's Graduate Certificate in College Counseling program.
She uses her expertise and years of experience in the education arena to ensure students are academically prepared for college. Gillian helps students find the best fit in a college.
Visiting dozens of colleges each year, Gillian gets direct insight into programs that could be a good match for students and what it takes to get in.
Through regular professional development and membership in the leading professional college counseling organization, National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Gillian remains up-to-date with changes in the industry.
Gillian's experience in the education arena spans several continents - Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. She has had the privilege of serving at a number of US Embassies. In addition, she has served at Flint Hill School, an independent college preparatory school in the Washington, DC area, and The Lamplighter School in Dallas, Texas. One of Gillian's proudest moments was organizing a Hurricane Katrina benefit concert featuring The Vienna Boys' Choir while living in Vienna, Austria. Gillian is a proud member of Rotary International.
